Miriam Eimermacher

Miriam Eimermacher has been working as an adviser in project management and international development cooperation for 10 years. In addition to gender equality, peace and security, her passions are intercultural education, global learning and political education with diverse stakeholders. Miriam has long-standing expertise in policy analysis, research and policy advice, as well as advanced programme management skills. She works on international policy processes (particularly at the EU and UN level), multilateral initiatives and developing and implementing national and international gender action plans. She was responsible for the project management of EU-financed projects in South-East Europe and Turkey. Miriam has institutional experience in working with GIZ, BMZ, EU, UN and various NGOs. She studied political science and European studies in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Peru.


Katharina Theissen

Katharina Theissen has been working as an adviser in project management and international development cooperation for 10 years. Her primary focus is monitoring and evaluation, project management and organisational & capacity development. She is an expert in development projects, specialising in gender-sensitive monitoring systems and evaluations, and training. She consults on topics such as gender equality, gender mainstreaming, digitalisation and methodical approaches. Katharina has extensive experience working with development banks and has worked with organisations such as GIZ, KfW, BMZ, UN, the World Bank, and various NGOs. Katharina studied sociology and governance in Germany and the US and is a qualified organisational development consultant. Katharina brings a systems-thinking approach to her work and connects new technical developments with a gender perspective.
